Whether you are here for business, holiday or just visiting friends, the Schiedamse Suites offer a very comfortable place to stay. We are located in a residential area in a 1918 semi-detached mansion at walking distance of the historical city centre of Schiedam. Only 10 minutes away from Rotterdam. From the Schiedam train station there is a train to Schiphol and Amsterdam every 15 minutes. We love to show you the way!
On the 1st floor you will find the Burgemeestersuite (Mayors’ Suite). A stylish, spacious double room with a separate private bathroom with a XXL bathtub and a XXL shower.
On the 2nd floor you will find the spacious Jeneversuite. Consisting of a large double bedoom with a double bed of 1.60xx 2.00 and a separate spare bedroom with two single beds. On top of that you will find a spacious living room , dining table, lounge area with TV and Nespresso coffee machine. The private bathroom is small but comfortable. On request an 5th extra bed can be added to the Suite.

Jenever capital
Schiedam is home to the largest windmills in the world and among others the Jenever Museum. In the 18th and 19th century, Schiedam became the jenever (Dutch gin) capital of the world. The windmills played an important role in the production of jenever as they grinded the main ingredient; grain. Spend an afternoon in Schiedam to visit these typical Dutch icons. Your host can give you all the information you need!
